Had a near miss the other day and I’m done with prebuilt stuff. I was on my Evolve Hadean bombing a big hill, went to start braking, and one motor cut out. I had to emergency brake around 20 mph downhill. Got super wobbly but rode it out. Scared the crap out of me, going all-in on a street DIY build, instead.
Heads up: this is for someone who really knows esk8 DIY. On teardown, one motor’s sleeve looks ripped, so I’m guessing a wiring issue in that motor caused the cutout. Test everything carefully, because I have not after the issue happened.

- Battery/ESC/remote are stock. Original deck broke, and replacement is not included. Trucks were upgraded to Evolve SuperCarve 2.
