Well I ate it on a push board and just realized I am not coordinated enough fort this sport. Fully dislocated my elbow and confidence is broke. Maybe again someday, but for sure not on something I build.
Plus I weigh 375 so the only option is super powerful builds.
There are a few pics/threads of Mboard (not to be confused with M.Hboards) battery teardowns on here, and it’s not great. Pretty sure he uses genuine cells, but his assembly is not up to the standards usually found on this forum and especially expected from our battery builders here.
That youtube vid about mboards putting a couple of guys on the shittiest assembled boards this side of China in order to do a long distance record trip told me nearly everything I need to know about Mboards.
As a mboards battery buyer in the past I can attest I have some pics up in this thread of the pack broken down. The wiring is a fuckin disaster spaghetti wiring. The BMS is fuckin garbage. He says it’s rated for 60A it’s not. It’s only 40A. I set my VESC to 60A because that’s what his site said. And I ended up eating all the asphalt in my neighborhood.
Also he never emailed me back after I calle shin out on his shit he said he would check with his factory… gtfo. How are you gonna sell a battery pack and not know the BMS discharge rate or worse yet know it and lie about it.
All in all lesson learned stay away from mike beard and his shit.
Haha, I am in no official capacity a Skateshred ambassador, but I happen to have an Argonaut enclosure and a bunch of Skateshred decks…
Having said that, the Argonaut is pretty darn flat, with a tiny bit of concave length wise and a tiny bit more width wise. It doesn’t fit well on any of the decks I’ve tried it on (I take that back, it fits well on the dancer board, lol).
