[US] SOLD: Ruroc RG1-DX Machine Edition

SOLD**** Ruroc RG1 DX helmet - LARGE - 1 of 500 “Machine” Edition
Bought this used (shows no signs of use, non-smoking home) but it’s a bit too small for my big head so after wearing it around the house for 5 minutes I ordered the XL. Just looking to recoup what I paid - let me know if you have any questions.

$250 + shipping or local pickup in or around Tampa, FL

I don’t think anyone is going to buy this on here with its reputation

It’s a shame, they do look pretty cool

I mean some people like looking like large ants

I do think tsg pass and my t8 racer look better though. Compared to some other offerings they look decent. Not worth the safety risk tho

It’s too try hard imo. Edgelord. Reminds me of @devguy and his supervillain helmet.

But i agree. That’s just my opinion. And maybe some people are looking for authentic facial scars to really tie it all together!

I added 2 lights to my helmet! Now where ever I go, with my helmet, my personality lights up everything! :joy:

well crap, good thing it didn’t fit since I got it to replace my full face Ruroc (and switch my BT audio to). Makes sense though, as fast as I go on pavement I guess I’ll stick with the full face…

so - any takers? lol

Just get yourself a cheap headlamp from the hardware store with the rubber flexi straps, though it does fall off if you lift your lid mid-ride and forget its on there - and put a clear lens on there with those flashlights! haha

Try facebook snowboarding groups. Probably lots of takers there

I’m just gonna throw it on eBay - for $250 someone will snag it up.

But thanks for the heads up on that - makes sense now that I am looking at the front face covering piece more closely now. Not made for crashing at high speeds, and I hurt myself enough as it is lol

Yup. Probably fine for snow.

Pavement.is a lot harder

Yeah, my fractured wrist and elbow would have agreed with you back in January! lol

clear visor is on the way! the dark visor sucks for evening rides and in the winter time i don’t want to ride it open. as for the flashlights, one might just go on the board, still mulling what to do with them.

Lights on the board help you see. Though as far as making others/cars are you, which imo is more important, nothing beats pointing a bright light directly into someone’s face. Especially useful in those situations where you’re going over an intersection and someone wants to pull in front of you.
