Ubox custom firmware on app

Hi, I’m trying to set up the custom firmware from the spintend site in the android app. The issue I’m having is that I can’t see the file in the ‘choose file’ box. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks jamie

Use the pc vesc tool version :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I thought that might be the case, I have only got a mac so I was hoping to just use the app. Thanks

You could check here for Mac version:

Didn’t look if the latest tool is already online, but in general you can find the vesc tool for Mac there.

it’s the FW 5.2. 5.3 is beta

He just needs the vesc tool for Mac.
UBox has custom FW, so better not to flash any regular beta FW.

Thanks for all the help everyone. I’ll attempt to get the vesc tool running on my mac. I assume once I’ve done the firmware I can just use the app as normal?
