I have done this, using an 40v power supply and ebike speed controller. It’s all waiting patiently to be deployed to my homemade lathe mmmmuuuuuhhhhaaaaaaaa.

Considering how thick the copper is couldn’t this generate massive power with the right battery and esc? Really tempted to build something crazy…
