Truck comparison - looking for advice

Definitely got that right, and i thought a set of BN280s in raw finish would look nice. And zero degree hangers too!

I didn’t even know he started doing 280s… I bet they’re nice too. I love my BN270s, just can’t make em work with the tomiboi deck

Yeah its that new collab with derilect board society or whatnot, he had a few sets leftover haha. I might keep the BN280’s for later use in a cruiser board setup, they are pretty dang nice looking still. What angles are you running front/rear?

I’m not sure what they’re set at right now tbh. But I tried just about every angle possible. My back wheels don’t bite, but my front ones do. Likely cause I’m running cones in the front. I can adjust the angle so that it doesn’t bite, but then I can barely turn. There isn’t a great combination sadly…

And I’d rather get new trucks or wheels than compromise on the bushing setup it took me forever to perfect

Fair enough haha. I hate esk8 right now, bought a boundmotor octopus and then tomiboi drops some killer deals on decks and enclosures, buy BN280s and then i discover luna 350’s :joy:

Board works fine for me im just always itching for an upgrade haha.

Hahaha I feel you. Ever since I found this forum, I’ve had way too many parts laying around. Too many sweet deals that I can’t pass up.

@tomiboi sells the liquid sword that would work with regular BN trucks, and savage TKP’s. It doesn’t have 30 degree tips. (FYI)

The endgame for me is actually to go for angled tips, double stack enclosure and something like those luna 350’s. Just wish i had thought of that before buying parts for my current setup lol.

Luna 350s are a good bet. I don’t get wheel bite with my 200x75mm wheels at all.

Yeah, that’s my same intended setup. Once I get the Lunas she’ll be rideable again…

Im gonna have to hit you up sometime before next summer for a deck and doublestack enclosure haha. Wonder if ill be able to run the lunas and something like 8x3 go cart tires

I surprisingly can’t get my BN270s w/ 8 inch wheels to work appropriately on the MTB deck I got from you. When adjusting the angles it’s either unturnable or biting the deck, not enough in between. A set of Lunas will fix my problems tho.

Have you tried risers? I had to do it on my setup to get decent steering angle without bite. Even had some lasercut to keep from getting slop in the truck mounting.

Yeah I tried about 8mm worth of risers and it still bit. Plus at that point I was using more risers than I’d like.

Yeah, I don’t like too much riser on an angled deck. The Lunas are awesome. I upped my bushing game though. I went with Riptide Krank Chubbys everywhere.

Thanks again! @Savage1

Got everything put back together with the modified wheel adapters. This may be the first BN m1-AT setup on Luna 350s(?)

Just need the loctite to cure, and once my brake lights come in the mail I’ll plug em in and get everything mounted again. Haven’t ridden in over a month, can’t wait to get back on the road :sob:
