I used Fiona’s chariot, as a wheelbarrow, to move sandbags recently, and bags of mulch a while ago. Can push, or pull it easily over deep soft grass.
Can also balance the load so there is little to No tongue weight.
When towing Fiona, I can position her directly behind me, or off to the side.
When carving, I can lessen the movement of the chariot with my arm, and will move it left or right to avoid obstacles, or have the esk8 wheels hug a sidewalk edge, and her 4.10X3.5-4 chariot tires still ride on sidewalk.
When I stop, and Fiona jumps out and walks, I put the esk8 in the chariot and walk it myself.
I forced myself to learn the thumbwheel with my left hand as soon as i got an esk8, even though I am right handed as I skate left foot forward, and I bought it to tow the kayak.
The times I do skate solo, the remote feels almost as natural in right hand as it does left.
I tow the Fiona loaded Kayak in my right hand, about 120 lbs , but it is balanced for little tongue weight, and accelerating or braking is hardly ripping out my shoulder.
The chariot is still a work in progress, but fully functional, and I’ve towed Fiona at upto 28mph, so far.
If yiu can use the remote in your other hand, and don’t need a hand free to look at your phone, consider a chariot, instead of the trailer.
