I’m pretty sure everyone means riding on clouds on asphalt not 1" Reflectors going 30mph.

That’s a bit excessive lol.

Those some narrow as roads.

You’re not a skater. Get some numies and sell the 110’s. Stop drawing pictures. Don’t draw a dick and call It Brad.

These few things are good advice.

@anon54720240 I really think this could come down to your switching from pneumies to thane and yea, it’s just way fucking different. You have to adopt a downhill stance to go over shit like manholes at 35 mph and not wobble out of control, which I imagine doesn’t happen on pneumies. In that regard yeah you can go faster and ride less cautiously at higher speeds but the set-up required to do that on thanes is less limited than an AT and I think that’s the draw for us thane-ies. And as @b264 said you don’t drain your battery one thanes like you do on Pneumies - just another reason you see people advocating for huge thanes I think.

edit:
Also the break in period is real for these, I finally got mine broken in at about 75mi and it really is a noticeable difference. How are you riding? If you’re stance is such that your hips are square with the sides of your board (as one usually is when bound on an AT) then you will wobble when hitting road imperfections at 35mph. This is true for all thanes in my experience. You want your hips more sqaured toward the front of your board. Read this:

I encourage you to try adopting a stance like this (more weight on front foot, 80% even) and practice it and tell us if you still hate it. I really want you to like thanes, practice some things first before quitting mate!

He rides TKPs so that stance wouldnt work. Or at least thats what ive been told.

He would have to be in a constant carve.

Sounds like TKP with pneumies is just your kinda jam. Which there’s nothing wrong with. Us thanies can’t win em all

I like both… urethane and pneumatic

FWIW. I rode on TB110s for several months. While it’s comfy and kushy, nothing beats the haggy’s grip and comfort. I don’t have to watch the road anymore. I can just cruise and not have to worry about those crazy roads. Better than 110s IMO, BUT 110s are amazing on smooth asphalt. Not to mention the range you get from them.

I prefer comfort over range. My legs get tired after 10 miles of riding. So no brainer for me. Haggy’s. I still get close to 20 miles w my haggy’s cruising around.
