Haha. Not trying to mask anything away. Just wanted to protect them while applying some cum in there. Just to make them last a few extra miles

Flipsky garbage/steeped axle Tb 6380. They both look like twinkies To me
Buy what works for you.

Wait. Tb won’t work with 3Dservisas gear drives. Aw man

@tipsy you can always make them work with these.

You can always make a 3D Spacer. How thick is that?

I thought @Ahrav got it working before?

Thanks to Ahrav and Artem…

Fits with no issues for latest motors.

Totally, forgot but the 10mm step is actually smaller in length so it clears.

Very nice.
Now all there is left to do is for people to stop buying those damn 6396 and stick to 190kv 6380s dammit

Does anyone have new 170kv? Looking to snag a new pair for upgrades but I like 'em torquy and I think the new batch is all 190kv

Or is that a bad idea and the torque gain is neglegable?

If you bump up the amps on the 190kv by ~12% you’ll have the same torque as 170kv.

Can also confirm. I have the 170s on ss mini helical v4, works beautifully!

Has anyone ordered the new motors and received shipping confirmation?

Ordered the new 6380’s and the AT kit on 6/27 and order status still unfulfilled :frowning:

Here is my beat to shit motor, works great still

Something must have gone wrong, if I enter your settings for the 190KV one I get 49Nm of Torque. So there is a difference. The calculator doesn’t like specific numbers for some values (like efficiency at 85%), so maybe that caused it to glitch out.

If possible, just decrease your gearing to get back the same torque and speed, or increase your motor amps – smart people on this forum have said that the heat a motor sees is more proportional to the torque it experiences, not the current. So with these 190KV motors, if your ESC can handle it, you can get the same torque as before, and even some extra speed

So what you’re telling me is bigger numbers are better?

Bigger numbers all around – yes, I guess
