To fuse or not?

Where should the cruise go? It’s a 12s49 p42a with a stormcore 60d. I don’t have the charger port or bms wired in yet.
The fuse goes between the battery n esc right? What type of fuse? Sorry about the noob question and if there info on here already but I can’t find it quickly. How big of a fuse 20 40 or 60 amp?
