Titanium Axles (TB DD Hanger) for TORQUEBOARDS Direct Drive Motor

Titanium Axles (TB DD Hanger) for TORQUEBOARDS Direct Drive Motor.

I have 4WD DIY board with 4pcs direct drive engines (d70mm).

And every time I have problems with their aluminium axles =(

Some months ago I found (finally) a man who done 2pcs for me. Now I am waiting it for tests. He maded it with sample, so I do not expect any problems. Now it will be M8x1 metric nuts.

If somebody need it?

I try to drive safety, but my body is 114-116kg (anyway, Torqueboards told about "under 130kg). I already damaged 5pcs =(

Your build looks great! The extra wheels looks crazy! I would love to ride it myself and get a feel for it! I’ll be honest, lot of TB products are garbage. They bend and break. Also the craftsmanship of their stuff is so fucked up. I got their chassis and enclosure, the specs says it can fit 12s4p 21700 cells. That’s a lie. And the way they want you to mount the enclosure to the deck is shady. Also the holes weren’t lined up well with the enclosure holes and so we just drilled through the deck instead. But I will say, after all the mods, the TB chassis with their RKP is a really stable platform with riptide bushings. Definitely a good chassis for a beginner or even a spicy cruise.

There’s a lot of different types of each but is ti better at resisting bending than steel?

Why steel? original ones are aluminium

Oo. Aluminum axle sounds awful.

It looks like the aluminum hanger is bending and not the axle insert which I’m guessing is steel.

it was a lot of pictures to see where is a problem. So, aluminium hanger was changed to Ti alloy
