The Trampa TGT Electric Longboard

We are close to the release of the Trampa TGT, our first electric longboard, we’ve put out abit of a promo video, without giving too much away specs wise.

We also have a new Vesc enclosure out which I think is pretty sick

If you have any questions on either let me know and I will do my best to answer them

What is Orrsom then?

Dear god that website is just as bad as it’s always been.

It would appear that the Orrsom is also an electric longboard

Weird marketing flex?

new one is a bit better but also mentions Orssom, which I guess is counted as 0th not 1st

Try out the new website, its been up for quite while now…

Yeah ORRSOM is a great but its not the complete package, we don’t sell it with batteries etc and its almost completely DIY in comparison to the TGT, also the TGT is the first longboard release since I’ve been working for the company so I’m sure you can forgive that lapse…also the power and speed capabilities of the TGT shit all over the OORSOM

I always forget about that thing tbh, probably best you do too haha

I was just looking at whatever came up on google search..

Does this mean Trampa now has two websites?

at the moment yes, but eventually the old (shit) website will be shut off, we are just getting through the initial period as we crossover to the new site full time

I will be the first to admit, it does look heaps better.

Still has a 90s look to it

The board builders are much better now, no more drop down menu’s etc and you can see what your board would look like as you go through the colour options, there’s so much about it that’s better to be honest. obviously there are still things we are discovering as we go that need ironing out which is why the old website is still running, that wont shut down until the new one is perfect.

suggestion.

cross link them in some obvious way. “try the new site”. button. “switch back to old site” button. “about new site” info → “new site is being filled in and old site will eventually go away”

Wow, this is a massive improvement. Props.

The old site gave me a pop up when I tried it

oh weird. I didn’t get that. but that’s good.

@SonnieFromTrampa Your videos sell the sizzle, but not the sausage!

Will I have to wait for a Kami Juins teardown video to get more than a momentary glance at the board?

What are the specs, hardware, materials, & voltage for the TGT?

Will I have to build my own battery pack for the TGT like I would have to for the Orrsom?

So many questions to videos that contain minimal information…

The video we put out was more to let people know it was coming, although we did intend to release the board alot sooner we hit some problems, there was issues with the mold on the battery enclosure that we have now resolved, there were certain tweaks we needed to make to the design as well and our engineer has been away at festivals all summer, thankfully now we are just waiting on the decks to arrive!

When the board does release there will be another video and also tech videos which explain all the questions you might have. Each time we release something new I am trying to do a couple of videos about that product, one showing it in action and one with all the tech stuff!

So, to be clear:

You’re not going to provide a picture of your product, you’re not going to give any technical detail, or respond to questions about batteries for the product, but you will talk about videos.

Great. I may as well buy an Evolve.

calm down pal :joy: , I didn’t realise you were asking for all of that right now. Normally we would release the specs when the actual product is for sale on the website.

what kind of picture would you like? with bindings or without? which colour combinations do you want? do you want the 12s 6p or the 14s 6p version. if your too impatient to wait you can email me on sonnie@trampaboards.com and I will give you the info you need
