The relevance of motor kv with gear ratios taken into consideration?

No problems with hot motors?

They get pretty toasty, but since I’m running reachers that’s fine. About 80C on a hot day riding up some steep hills at around 50kmh. I’ll only worry about them at 100C since they’re built for higher temps. That’s plenty of headroom.

So you’re saying that you can use scrambled eggs as a temp indicator?

if youre looking for max power or max torque the more gearing and higher kv the better. maybe, or may not more efficient, but the MAX will be higher.

Im at 16s, 11:59 ratio and 175mm wheels.

Havent tried it yet though. I would love to know the torque but cant figure it out.
