Smart Reverse does stuff on its own. (Sometimes?)
Hyst Reverse is just like double-tapping the brake (while stopped) to switch to reverse gear. A full-speed reverse gear, just the same as drive, except the other direction. And you are in full control the whole time, no magic.

Nobody “needs” an esk8 to begin with. But life is a bit more fun when you have one.
That’s also true for reverse.
This is ridiculously uninformed and assuming. Some folks use them for transportation. Just because you don’t, doesn’t mean that nobody does.
I agree that esk8 is quite fun yes. However in the 7 years I’ve been building and riding I’ve never come upon a situation where I needed the reverse function. Which is why I asked earlier about situations others enjoy using it. Thanks for your input though
