Alright, I got some more done on this one. First off, I got me a new toy. I needed a new FDM printer and wanted to try something from Bambu labs because I’ve heard good things. I picked up the X1E high-heat printer off of matterhackers.com. This thing has a lot of cool bells and whistles that my old dremmel 3D printer lacked, but what most interests me about it is its ability to work with fancy/expensive high-heat filaments. These filaments are supposed to make stronger models than standard filament, and since I mostly want to make structural parts for esk8s, it seemed like a good fit.
