So, gonna prioritize some upgrade purchases here. Not gonna get everything at once but seriously looking into these parts in this order, or a better order, to improve my ride.

Bindings. MBS F5x tickle many desires for me, but I feel like a used set of F5 will be just as good and cost me less. These velcro toe straps really suck.

Deck. This chineseum log of a mountainboard deck with shallow angles is too heavy and not poppy enough for me. Riding it analog was a huge pain and I feel like once I’m driving the motors it’ll only be worse.

Trucks+Drivetrain. Not sure if I want to replace chain drive so soon, I want to learn more about using it first. A cheap gear drive keeps crossing my mind though. Infinityhubs that I’m using work flawlessly with moon drives which will also handily come in a nice high ratio, but at the same time a BNAT set isn’t too expensive and I feel would be awesome with a set of duality trucks. Just tossing around ideas as this one is pretty far in the future for me.

Batteries. I feel like I want more small batteries, not one large one. I’d rather take a number of packs I need for the day with me, rather than being tied to either a big heavy pack or a small lightweight one. Probably going to stick to 18s2p to keep weight low. Tabless cells will help with that.

First time doing this 100% through the app.

Also, it seems I can’t buy mountainboard bindings in this country, would wakeboard or snowboard bindings work?

Ive made snowboard bindings work with modification, you still need critical parts tho. Like the L bracket to mount them on. And maybe some ratchets and straps.
You might be able to make the whole binding platform work but I remember reading on here that they are designed for boots so there is too much room/ not secure enough.
No experience with wakeboard bindings
Can you get stuff off Aliexpress? I found mine on there for like 30 USD. They are actually decent.

Scratch that, the listing is down on Aliexpress, but there are the same bindings on Amazon too, if you can buy through that.

it does matter they will get you at the border with customs fee and tax
so for a us resident its free shipping but for a canadian is 200$
