That looks like it is for the LEDs that they embed in the nose of the board as a battery level indicator.

Heres a good one for you. @hoytskate Turned my board on this morning and for whatever reason my puck decided that brake = throttle and throttle = brake. Works exactly the same but the input is backwards. I’ve never seen or heard of it before, damn funny though and still there haha.
