I don’t think they ever made it to court, would’ve been too much bad PR for Jason. It was posted multiple places in the old forum and one of the OGs talked to Jason about it before the relationship turned nuclear.

When you look on the numbers it feel very cheap with 50k.
But then you realize Jeff dont work there anymore with Unity, all employers got fired, bad repuation then there is the old forum but now we are here so not worth that mutch and their is also alot of manufactors with new vesc on their way.
Actually i dont think anyone works there atm, maybe Adrian who was his friends for 10 years but I gues their is no money so probebly not him either.
Its a great achievement he did get that far. But its very hard to understand how he could screw it up that mutch as he did when you look on the numbers how succefully they was.

It’s not very hard to understand how he screwed it up.
I think the raptor was just the wrong way to go and not realizing this for too long didn’t make the situation better. This plus the fact that he was not honest with his customer and his team just made it to what it is now.

Was it the frequently spoilt raptors or the failure to produce said raptors thay led to the company’s demise?
I think it was how he handled it all. I get there can be shipping delays and DOAs…but don’t act like it was the communities fault for it all. He shifted lame on other people and acted like a prick.

I searched old forum for “enertion lawsuit” and “unity lawsuit”, came up blank. You made your assertions as if they were well known facts. At this point I have to think you just made it up and are trying to pass it off as fact… No bueno. I feel obligated to ask for substantiation and make corrections when I see stuff like this. I don’t want to name drop the wrong person but I want to say it was Brenternet or DerelictRobot that was at one time friends with Jason and talked about it. I’m not the only person that knows about it but im not dragging anyone else into the thread about a product that no longer exists and a company that no longer exists.

I was never friends with Jason. I was cordial with him at first, had some long conversations, and then his systematic extortion of @torqueboards came out + the Enertion/Open Source debate, and then the banning & subsequent meltdown started happening.
Jason was a fratboy idiot that got lucky with the right people at the right time. None of this is surprising at all.
