The Definitive Guide to Metr App / Metr Pro

My stormcore 100D was having issues, so now I’ve replaced it with a 100dx running the 6.0 firmware. Now the metr pro V1 module powers up and I can see it. However, that app will not connect to it. It just keeps saying connecting for an infinitely long amount of time. Any thoughts??

You update the module?

Yeah, tried that numerous times

I’ll have to look into it more closely, not sure what causes it.

No, but probably not very hard to add some setting that allows it. I’ll have a look.

Please make sure UART is enabled in VESC Tool.

I just noticed that even though I have everything in my app set to metric, the records still use mi, wh/mi and mph.

Any way to fix that so it displays in metric? It got the Celsius correct at least.

Also, the numbers look really wrong, but they would be the right numbers if metric was the units.

wait what? Mines the opposite. I have the app set to imperial but i still get records in metric. wtf

There are 2 separate settings for records and real time data

It may be that my settings are wrong with my ennoid 12s bms, but I’m getting accurate cell voltage, but no SoC and current readings as of late.

Hey, looks like my ennoid firmware 6.0 for a xlite 12 v2 isn’t supported in the ios metr app. I tried to search any word on here and came up blank. Anyone know if there is a work around? Should i roll back my firmware or wait and access the data separately for now?

I must be doing something wrong, but I am having issues with auto start of records. This morning, I opened the app, it paired and connected. I closed my phone, walked out of the house and started riding. When I got to my destination, I opened the app and it was not connected. It reconnected immediately, but there was no recording. Do I need to leave my phone open when I start riding to get the recording to start?

Edit: I am using android ver 13, metr 60 FW4.1, I have all permissions allowed for the app.

What ennoid fw did you have before you upgrade?

Do you have Metr Pro with SD card or without? If without, there might be some issue with Android 13 which I am going to look at soon.

Did you upgrade ennoid firmware or did Metr app stop showing that data after some update?

Metr pro can (no sd card)

Auto recording works for me.

Turn on board
Open app
Connect
Apply my speed mode

Put phone in my pocket and go ride.

Fyi, You responded to my email and I think im all straight. This is the only and first use ive made of the metr pro so I don’t have a baseline beyond this. I am currently using vesc fw v5.3 and my bms is using the ennoid fw v 6.0.

Edit: can’t wait until there is CAN BMS support. Hope you get a chance to work in the functionality, but it’s summer now - time to go ride
