The Carver... My final frontier

Big huge difference between these tires…

Messing with me a bit…

First good preview.

What’s the thought process behind two different tires?

Oh.

I have not done it before. So my first time trying the 8 and 9 combo.

I really like 9s for the grip.
I hear the mudpluggers are even better than the MBS ones.

But some folks will keep 8s in the front to keep it lighter.

Might be more nimble steering with the 8s as well.

So.
I want this board to be lighter… But could not see myself giving up the grip…

So trying the combo.

I have seen this 8/9 combo on a bunch of the Trampa videos.

Ok.
Little bits.

Tearing down the old sleigh.

Motors go on the shelf.

Unity stays on the Bro.

Battery is, hopefully, going on the Llama.

I’m pretty proud of myself.
After all the miles I put on the Bro the inside was perfectly clean.

On the challenge side…
I obviously never meant for this battery to come out of the Enclosure…

Drilled the board…

This is always one of the most enerving steps for me.

Using regular skate bolts.

Going through these barrel nut things.

This Vvivid stuff.

It is far from perfect up close.

But I can live with it…

I’m happy with the overall look.

after almost a couple of months slacking and working on other distractions I took a couple of steps on the Haero.

cut the shafts on the motors… yey.

and cut the enclosure to fit the heat sink on there.

next up I need to extend the motor wires…

This is exactly what I wanting to do with mine but was worried it would weaken the box too much. Does it feel solid still while bolted in?

the enclosure is a junction box from Amazon.

have had a bigger one on the tow truck and has been great.

Justin @Venom121212 invented them…

It did loose some structure right…
you can pull the sidewalls apart easy on the cut side.

but i will fasten the bolts better when I do it all for real and run silicone around the heat sink.

and I didn’t bolt the lid down but that will add some structure back.

I totally think it will be fine.

they are not as easy to access as a pelican case…
But I really like the look.
