They aren’t enforcing it today though, and this happened to be the day I drove in 
Just fyi, I don’t think an underside enclosure will work.
I had one of these, they are ridiculously low and I even got shoebite quite a number of times riding it.
Also, it flexes a bit which makes things worse, clearance wise.
I’d go top mount.

Upon further consideration I will be adding skid bars, some pieces of thin steel bar with pan head hardware threaded from the inside and hopefully it’s easier to replace the steel than the enclosure

What are you running for motor amps?
Detection came up around 30 for me
What does yours say for top speed on the Vesc tool?
Any special considerations for the set up?
Oh, also are you running HFI? And if so what values.

I’m running 50/-30 motor and 30/-10 battery per side, but it detected around 30A
I’m using 12s FOC and VSS stock settings, little bit of struggle to get going from a stand still but a hell of a lot cleaner than sensorless
Top speed is like 31 I think? They measure as an effective 75kv
