The battery builders club

It’s pretty common for kitchen appliances to spike way more wattage than that, and obviously the infra handles it just fine.

All sockets have fuses, they are usually located in an central fusebox in you house.
The 32A main breaker is the main fuse for the whole house, from there it’s split into groups of fuses.
Not sure about the spec in the UK but lights usually have their own fuses and outlets have their own,
they’re usually grouped by room or planned usage (e.g. kitchen appliances need more power than a TV).

EDIT: Here’s a random picture from the internet to visualise it:

Yeah so the lights for me have a separate fuse and then within each ring is a 32amp fuse for all the outlets within a ring

Right now concerned the actual outlet can’t withstand 20amps

It’s not a sustained 20A, the outlet will not melt or anything

Get a fire extinguisher if it makes you feel better, I mean it will not stop an electrical fire but you can believe it will

Exactly that picture explains it
In my garden it is part of a 32amp ring
Therefore when no other sockets are in use the fuse can sustain just for that 32amp
The socket is rated for 13amps continuous
So could it withstand 20amps for a split second?

If the ring is on a 32A fuse you should be fine if you shut off/unplug other stuff that is connected to the ring.

Yeah perfect
Gonna try now

Can I try a weld onto nickel without anything (except stone) under
As in not weld it onto anything

You need to weld it to something (like another nickel strip)

It will blast a hole and shower tiny nickel sparks everywhere, weld it to a razor blade or dead cell starting at the minimum power and work your way up to a good looking weld

K will weld to another piece of nickel or a dead triple a battery

Will it be ok to weld to a dead non rechargeable battery

Don’t keep welding to it otherwise it will get hella hot and that’s risky, but yeah that’s fine. Either do it outside or by an open window just in case, that holds for all battery related fuckery of any sort though

Any time kiddo, just make sure what ever the dumb shit you do, you live long enough to come back and tell us about it

Whatcha gonna be making by the way? Didn’t skyart send a pre made battery with the tomi deck, or is this a different board?

@skyart sent for the Tomi deck but I am making a range extender for my main board and a pack for my bros electric scooter

Yes, it will most likely trip your circuit. This is why I never considered a Sunkko.
