I’m not of fan of using duck tape in battery’s I fined it leaves a reissue. I prefer pvc tape or masking tape

Sometimes it leaves some glue, when it gets removed. And it’s not nice to fishpaper. Just be careful, when you remove it. But @ducktaperules

Its all fine and dandy until its been on there a while and gets nice and warm. God forbid you have to troubleshoot or work on the battery 
But if its all you got, do what ya gotta do

I think it’s just there for not shorting something while he is working on it.
Hope it will be replaced with a layer of fishpaper and heat shrink in future @Mainflow

Painters tape is masking tape. Any thing I’s better than nothing

@Andy87 I have 1.5 meters of 120mm fishpaper left and enough heatshrink(ty @Creavenger)
I didn’t want to spend more money and that was the only thing, I had at home.
