Fun side effect, I use WS8212 led drivers for individual chip control, and the drivers are usually either wifi or bluetooth with names you can set. So my boards are going around broadcasting unconnectable wifi network names like FBI_VAN_14

Hey mate, I’ll be honest. When I do something, I go into a no thinking mode sometimes and go into my own world. I stare. It’s like a switch. That’s unfortunately my nature.
Can you understand this?

I totally understand. I experience a similar state while i’m trimming corners off nickel

Its meditative. You should try it some time.

Looks satisfying. That alone is reason enough doing the corners like that

I should consider a crop-a dile. My keyfile works just fine. I have a dremel, but it creates a big burr. and btw. I’m flexing all day and it is also meditative.
Edit: I meant a angle grinder. :joy:

Nickel strip would be incredibly easy to round on a simple belt sander, wouldn’t it? As long as you use proper technique there should be no risk of shredding the belt. Pretty sure the harbor freight base model is like $60, and a pair of corner chomps is something like $35. Not that it can’t be done with just scissors… but rounding shit on a belt sander is just relaxing.

I use, what I have available.

Oh, that wasn’t directed towards you. Was just a general question. I’ve never tried and I guess I’m just wondering if it’s too flimsy to do well just holding it in your hands and taking it to the sander, because if you had to clamp each piece in something it then wouldn’t be worth the time.

I actually clamped a strip into a vice and grapped my dremel to try it out. Would have taken to long and it vibrated too much for me.

These guys legit? Asking hours after placing my order because I’m a genius like that…

how many cells did you order? did you see the wholesale button on the top right?

I was just made aware of this source recently too. They ship near my local so I’m going to have to find out if they’re legit or not one of these days
