The Avio Mini Remote Mod

Peeled the plasti-dip and super glued the case to add some durability to the printed material. Then sprayed it in an automotive blue paint with a silver metal flake. I’ll sand it tomorrow and clear coat it after it sits pver night.
Thanks again Jeff @avX

Hey! I have been thinking on dong this mod for a while now, and I just now got the opportunity to 3d print one. But now the picture to guide you thrue the steps are gone so I am unsure of what to do.

@longhairedboy any idea as to what happened to the pics in the post?

They’re just links to the images on the old forum. When copying the article you didn’t copy the images I’m guessing. Lots of copied articles on here have that issue.

Copy the images over. He probably blocked them.

What remote is this for?

I can’t find reference to the original product that is used in the mod.

It’s generally just referred to as the mini remote.

Lots of different suppliers rename it but it almost always has mini in the title

That’s what you want.

I’ve used Avio mod remotes on a few of my boards. Both sizes. Great mod.
