Doing drag race pulls at track tonight with Reggie and @HAIRYMANJACK, I quickly was limited by spinning front tires.
At ya’ll’s suggestion I split up my power delivery; I’m running 130 / 160 front/back, -80 / -60 brake front/back.
Set some record drag race times, but confident I lower even more with more tuning and practice. This board goes through battery too fast
Wild how much of a difference lowering the front motors by 30 amps made. my launches got way more repeatable. Additionally, I get what you mean by this now
I was expecting the difference primarily at high power, but I was shocked by how much of a difference the split power made even at low power. I could feel the rear was doing more work then the front, which is wild. The board felt more predictable, more planted, less jumpy. Good things.
Continuing to do launches, with my front wheels not skipping, I can definitely put down even more power. Probably going to up the motor current significantly for future drag race runs. @poastoast @Skyart 6484 205kv 15s how much current to saturate the core? 200A?
