I wouldn’t say it’s much of a DIY because it’s all prebuilt. Just some added extras to give it that pizazz. I double stacked 2 of the 10s4p batteries from Miles. It uses Samsung 35E batteries
The groves from the § groups fit between each other perfectly and an extra enclosure made a good box to stuff it all in. It’s a good 2 1/4" tall enclosure over all. And for some more ground clearance, I used Evolve’s 7" tire kit for that extra 1/2" of ground clearance. It took about 90x 1mm washers to space it all out for proper fitment and use as bearings spacers.

Nice to see I’m not see only one which rides this setup
The enclosure looks a little bulky though. Why you didn’t keep the original one?
And why did you modify your trucks?
It’s still the orginal enclosure. Its two of them stacked over another. Making it like a clam shell. I did have to cut out the ESC mounting area so it would sit flat against the board. As for the trucks, they are the same, just with evolve wheels. The hub’s center are very drastically in depth.
I couldn’t keep the enclosure single because I added another battery with it.
Oh, wait! I thought I was an Evolve Bamboo and you just upgraded the batteries and put new wheels on.
I have just a GTX with the same battery like you.
I like your idea though!
