No bad idea, fb marketplace is a mess, quick hot tip. If you want to make this chat somewhat civilized and really usefull marketplace that does’t clog up with 100s of messages every day that nobody has time to check. I suggest this. Change rules as follows:
1.Only publish items you want to sell/buy with price and country of origin or city. Rest of the deal should be sorted through PM’s
2.No memes, funny images etc are allowed.
3.Questions about problems can be asked, but prefferably should be sorted through PM’s to keep excess chatter to minimum.
We did such experiment in one of our car parts exchange whatsapp chats and it has been very sucsessfull. I actually dont have to mute chat and notifications, because we get about 10 messages a day about actual parts sale or wtb .
