Looking to possibly move from 8" to 9" wheels on one of my builds.
I’m looking at the trampa deep dish 9" hubs that are 3" wide.
Looking for opinions on 9" tires.
Mostly for street riding, with occasional offroad dirt, grass.
Would prefer a tire that wider than 2"
I made the switch to 9in on Mistfall a while ago, and I’m very happy with it. Super comfy for street riding, still plenty capable for off-road if you have the torque, large contact patch for good grip. Plenty of good cheap tire options on AliExpress.
Efficiency is worse of course.

Opinion on 9" is that I’d rather ride 8s. There’s just some spots on our rides that 8s won’t get through. I prefer these over all of the options you listed. Cheap and reliable. Also I’m pretty sure they’re the same as the MBS ones… 5 of us use these and love them.

Which 8" tires do you ride?
I’ve been riding the qing-da 200x75 and the kenda 200x50 I like the kendas, but need something taller, wider, and with some kind of tread.
I practically never ride 8s because there are horrible sections on all of our rides but I have some Trampa primo alphas. The 9s are great aired down to around 20 psi.
There’s some new 9" on Ali Express. I’m helping a buddy throw some M1 ATs on his board but will look for the link later. They look awesome.
The MBS 9” tires and the trampa phatlad 9” tires are both very good tires.
9” makes a world of difference off-road compared to 8”
You can also run lower pressure which improves ride comfort.
