With how the states is these days I wouldn’t go out in public if I were trans, mostly out of fear of persecution.
Miami is very welcoming to the lgbtq community, i personally cannot guarantee anything. But i would be very surprised if you run into trouble at this event
Probably worth contacting the event organizers to see what their policy is about bigotry/hate speech, and to gauge their attitudes about responding to potential issues.
I’ve rode in a lot of PEV communities around the country (though not in Florida/the south) and they’ve all been very welcoming, but you can never rule out the one random asshole who might decide to ruin your night. Every community has its dickheads no one likes but haven’t had a good reason to kick out yet. At that point it’s just a question of how the organizers respond to stuff like that.
Maybe invite a friend to go with you until you get a feel for the community? Anyway, stay safe out there
