Stoke type build but with 121c aileron?

Oh yeah thats the kinda thing im going for.

hmm all that plus the deck may as well just buy a stoke ¯_(° ͜ʖ °)_/¯

I you live in Australia I think the Stoke is actually a bargain right now as it has 200$ off so $1200, for the OS guys do the currency conversion to AUD.

You can do a cheaper DIY, but there will be significant compromises.
You can do a better DIY but it will be significantly more expensive.

For an equivalent board ish (AUD):
Motors - 180
Deck - 100
Motor Controllers - 200
Trucks - 150
Battery - 300
Wheels - 120
Remote - 50
Odds and ends - 100

Totals 1200, which is the same price as the stoke, except you get a 12 month local warranty which add significant value.

I will also note, if you aren’t an experienced DIY hand you will make mistakes that will cost you a heap more than the above figures.

Remember the Stoke has a 10s2p travel battery limited range. Also lacks the ability to hill climb without dropping into safe mode. I built my 10S3p battery using 3 X $25 aldi drill batteries, and the motors I used were free the only parts I had to buy - the vesc (makerx $120 USD) and a $30 enclosure.
