STARFLUX

First time making a build thread.

Picked up this Gen 1 FLUX AT recently and set out to make it my own. Previous owner had already changed out his motors to these Flipsky 190KV 63100 Motors, the rest was stock. I cant believe how fun it rides, Im really loving this setup.

Here is how I got it, sitting next to my Hummie build (Ill make a thread on at some point).

Custom printed Splattergoat grip tape
3D concave shaped using gorilla tape and cardboard shims

Davega X with flat mount

MBS Matrix II Oil Slick
Yellow Shockblocks front and back
MBS Rockstar II with 8” Tires, soon to be @Ean.esk8 rims.

-70A Brakes
80A Battery total
-40A Regen total

Puck Puck Bruce, Soon to be changed to a @poastoast remote. Looking for someone that can print one in resin or another material a little stronger and smoother.

Nice build ! The grip and oil slick truck go very well together !

What kind of gearing you have for such high kv ?

Thanks! Running 15/72 (adding to the main post)

Unfortunately these are the 10mm D shaft motors, so finding others will be tricky it seems. I know flipsky has 16T though.

I run 16t/72t with mine and it’s perfect ( i bought the 63100 190kv keyway version :slight_smile: ). plenty torque starting and at 35mph. I run 8in tires though.

It really feels great, at 15/72 it’ll tap 35 and feels great all the way there. So no real need in my mind to change the gearing.

My hummie is 20/60 on 6” tires and will break 40mph so Ive got that extra speed available if im feeling so inclined.
