Lipos aren’t really that different, you can still use a BMS the same way
I heard there was more risk of fire with lipos

They are easier to damage because they are soft cased and have no vents, but technically they are more chemically stable than li-ion
You’ll get a lot more power output but they will last less cycles and hold less charge, for high end race boards they are more appropriate but they are semi-consumable
