I was looking at the alibaba options awhile ago, the old cgt body was up for sale in batches of 10. I was tempted.

It’s pretty much finished but I’ve hit a road block, I can’t get the unity to update to the new firmware.
It connects via bluetooth to the app then I have message that pops up saying I need to update the firmware. I go to the firmware page then I start to upload, then the Bluetooth disconnects.
Any ideas?

Damn. I recall having that issue a couple of times
hard closing the unity app and power cycling the unity fixed the problem for me

I’ve tried that a few times but no luck.
I also have another unity I could try but I really don’t want to pull this one out .

That’s what I’m thinking, I have a Mac so I’m trying to start up a old pc.
Where do I get the software?

Now that I recall. My issue was a little different where I couldn’t disable the auto shut off so if the fw upgrade took longer than 10 mins the unity would turn off before the new fw was fully uploaded

Dumb question, but why can’t you use the mac version of vesc tool?

Old Mac version of vesc tool isn’t compatible with unity as far as I’m concerned

I just downloaded the software from grit hub and all is done.
