Some Questions about E-Bike Motors

Hey guys!

So I’m about to build a Ebike out of Esk8 Parts that I Have Laying around. I have some Questions tho!

1. So the PLan is to use a 10s2p with the Bike which has 36 Volt, but I want to change that Battery with a Bigger one in the Future. Will a Motor that is rated for 48Volts or more work with that 36 Volt battery?

2. Will a E-Bike Motor work with a Esk8 ESC? → Flipsky

Your top speed will obviously be lower on 10s vs 12s
