Esk8 stuff seems to be very expensive second-hand. It seems to hold the same value as apple stuff. Which is both nice and not-nice depending on if you are the buyer or seller ofcourse.

Nah, 2nd hand wheels, motor mounts, even motors go for quite cheap. ESCs too, with the exception of Trampa’s VESC. Since they have a reputation of being bulletproof (and admirable due to the brand that charges a lot in the first place, similar to Apple), then they do keep their value quite well.
