[SOLD] Kids See Boosted - For Sale

Age wise its fairly young. Its only got around 250 miles (25 cycles, about) on it IIRC

Your overall capacity would stay the same but your max amp output would go from 105a cont to 60a, and would likely increase the voltage sag you feel.

@b264 could likely sell or mail you the connector for it, since I got mine through him originally. If you keep it I would recommend at least a 4a charger, the 3a I used didnt charge enough for me, and the battery remained cool to the touch

I would think that 250 miles on the pack in the enclosure/build would generally give the impression that its constructed just fine, though I understand your hesitation. Make sure your 30q pack fits before you commit to it… that enclosure combo is a bitch to fit things in.

Just concerned about cell age. What connector does the charger use? Is it GX12-3 or GX16-3? I figure I may just cannibalize my current charger to get it to work

Also the frit is done amazingly, and it seems like @Jujo didn’t ride it very much. He also gave me one hell of a deal for it.

I know this very well

Seems to be GX-16 based off a quick PM search :+1:

actually, this is the exact pin out:

Youll be able to read the numbers on the connector, I dont know if youve taken a close look yet.

Better after sales support than TorqueBorques :sunglasses:

Dope, Thanks! I’ll just order a bunch of these connectors on amazon as I’m gonna end up using it on my ly evo build too.

Yeah I keep GX16-3 in stock and having the pinout helps tremendously

Also FWIW the black paint on the edges loves to flake where your shoes meet it when turning, @sender (the skinner) recommended just using black sharpie to touch it up. I guess repainting would encourage further chipping / an uneven look or something :man_shrugging:

Nope, not a sharpie. Use a type of paint marker. Sharpie makes some that you can get at loc hardware stores.

These are good for light touch ups on all sorts of things.

@mmaner did a fantastic job with the fabric, and should have been mentioned earlier as well

The original album art is quite different, and I dont think it would have looked nearly as good without his editing (at least on the board… its a great piece of cover art  ) .

Yo what does this button do? @Sn4Pz
Also, I am kinda concerned about the health of the battery. Just charged it from 32v to 42v in 2.5 hours with a 3a charger, which suggests it only has 7 Ah of capacity left in it…

The button was to turn off/on the GPS tracker that ended up getting removed entirely from it

:man_shrugging:t2:

Like I said I only put around 25/30 full cycles on it, and shipped it out at 36ish volts. I think youre better off calculating it’s age off the range you get but whatever makes you feel the most comfortable is the option you should pick

@ProfoundMagician what’s up Juan, you wanna say something about my silicone job? :triumph::triumph:

:joy: Yeah it looks like hot garbage. Could easily have been cleaned up with some after care but I just wanted to ride :man_shrugging:t2:

Nah lmao, I thought he was asking about the charger port. My NA education really shines sometimes

After a beautiful ride I can confirm the battery is in good health (90+% capacity). This is such an upgrade over the old, stiff deck :stuck_out_tongue:

Seems like your 3a charger might be higher than what its rated, glad to hear its functioning properly :+1:
