I will be willing to if I can reasonably assist you to get the bucks/molds/substrates/thingamajigs made. Basically, it’s the boardup deck but with enclosure spaces for components. I want the next version of my build to be lighter and incorporated enclosures would also make it slimmer.

How much u weigh buddy

I’m a heavyweight. Probably over 100kg if I’m going to the office. Side note: I have to replace my work laptop and the replacement would be 3kg.

Oh, I’m in Australia, if the use of metric hasn’t tipped you off that I’m not in 'murica.

You’re in Colorado? Come down to the shop in Springs. I’m here for the next week or so We can go for a ride…

There have been some good parts recommendations but they aren’t perfect.

Deck- Tomiboi has a range of compact-big and can do custom stiffnesses on request.

Wheels- Definitely X-Cell for standard hubs for lots of reasons. Or the bigger 3D Servisas hub system looks amazing but there are probably less tire options and you might not be able to use other brand’s geardrives, not that the 3DS one isn’t good.

ESC- If cost is no issue, Tronic X12. There have been lots of VESCs even good brand name ones blowing up and X12 is probably the best you can get even if you don’t need all that power.

Motors- Depends on how much power vs efficiency you want, reachers are great and Xcell has a high end option but idk if it’s been really tested.

Battery- I second SKP unless you want lots of power for low weight in exchange for range in which case get LiPos.

Trucks are tricky, depends lots of preference. Tito dualities and Matrix 3 with riptide singularity bushings are really popular lately. Idea (efreedom.eu), 3d servisas, etoxx in the past (pictured for inspiration) and maybe some other brands I have missed make nice cnc trucks.

edit: newbeeesk8 of course has made some great trucks and I think is working on some new stuff. 3 links can also be pretty great if you want high speed especially but it looks like you might be looking for something bigger.

Currently, gaining a lot of inspiration from this, and as far as from what I wanted to do for the DIY I want to literally be able to tackle everything and be able to go the distance to get there. You can literally almost see the board if you flatten the battery out and take the seat off of this

Seems like project iron giant a bit then

I know it’s an annoying question but might a bike be a better platform than a skateboard if you want lots of range, speed and offroad capability and it’s not going to be light or compact anyway?

I’m hoping more of a hybrid. I’m thinking tungsten on the outer edges. That’ll CNC it’s almost like a hub. That’ll have a jacket on the outside. Post edge and then a thin frame to hold a dancer style board. That way, you can support the weight

It sounds really impressive but I’m not sure on the context and what that means to be honest.

Another cool build to checkout is Dreamchaser, info starts here. it is an epic build but probably a bit more on-road oriented than you are looking for

Lol im just trying to forge a board that will go 60+miles and has fast charging , TRUE suspension and enough power to really climb  where im finding opposition is in. Where do you put your feet Not to sure how to better stabilize the rider all my math maths but the rider aka me would have to be pretty nimble lmao   all that ā€œskillā€ stuff im sure ill gain with time i snagged, I used one-off marketplace yesterday for a $100 bill. Just to touch 1LOL and to be honest, it’s pretty sketchy LOL but fast.

So like an Acedeck Nyx z3, one of Propelā€˜s offroad options or a bajaboard? I’m not sure if finding similar things is helpful or not for you to figure out what to do. The Acedeck might even be an off-the shelf option for you or this Phantom Xā„¢ – REVSKATEBOARD it’s not a suspension board but it’s still very offroad capable, has loads of range and power and the vendor is on the forum.

If i had unlimited funds id go with bajaboard’s helix 4x for starting point - then make it better…

Their motors are ok, reachers are good but not for offroad. The let the dust in.
-esc theirs is not great. Unreliable and hard to program.
-better shocks
-probably beef up drivetrain materials since you have the tools

I have vesc’d 4x4 belt drive and rip over stuff that most ā€œall terrainā€ boards wouldnt even try. Go for 10ā€ tires and cooling fans on esc.
Extra battery on deck and you wont need a kite

Acedeck and propel are a different class from bajaboard. Like comparing the stooge to MLR. Both are good but not quite like the original
