Small (around 165mm) tires that will stretch to 65mm?

Any updates on this?

His race board still isn’t finished :grimacing:

Yeah but I figured I’d ask about the wheels cause that setup sounds perfect for my needs.

Right I don’t believe @Shadowfax has tried the tire combo either.

Welp I’ll just have to see. I might just have to em him every week or so till he tries it lol

I ended up using the 165mm tubes I had on hand. They seem to be fine like that.

After I got these mounted on the Pentagrams, I had them lined up on the sofa and their fatness inspired me to grab my phone and shoot a bit of footage and waste some time on a silly video:

It has the vibe of a Steven Seagal movie

I kept waiting for them to skrrrrt away

Also mildly entertaining (at least to me)… From the fattest small tires to the smallest motors with the biggest tires. These are 10" tires with Maytech 6355s on my 4WD mountainboard.

I doubt I’ll be back in California before September to assemble my race board and test out all the choices I have committed to.

It looks like @2xbass has beat me to the punch, and is the first to test the linnpower tubeless race tire with tubes in the newbee pentagrams.

@2xbass Looks like you have the newer/wider v2 pentagrams. Is that right?

@Shadowfax yes I have them on but it will be a little while until that build is completed so I haven’t actually ridden on them yet.

What tubes are you using?

I’m using 165mm tubes that I got with Trampa Treads

I am assuming they would be hell to change often if you lived where they have goathead thorns?

Probably yeah lol I wouldn’t ride them Offroad.

You could probably utilize tire slime well in them tho
