What is the difference between one of your SKP motors and a generic/stock Reacher? What are the customizations that have been done to optimize them beyond the default?

Hi, wondering if anyone else in here has had issues with 5V noise on the SKP escs? I love everything about the esc, but I just can’t find any input that will control it. I’ve tried Analog, UART and CAN.
I know the esc works because it spins fine over usb, but it shows very noisy signal when using analog controller. Viewing signals on the oscilloscope show that serial and CAN have an excessive amount of noise which seems to be coming from the 5V rail (which also has been measured to have quite a lot of noise). I’ve tested all of the input devices on a different vesc and they all work fine.
Let me know if anyone knows of a fix for the 5V noise! Been struggling for several months to figure this out

How much of a difference in rolling resistance do 2RS/DU (sealed) bearings have compared to ZZ (shielded)? I know ZZ isn’t typically recommended for esk8, but do they have a significantly reduction in rolling resistance?

I dont know how to answer this as this is the only bearings i have used in the last 2 maybe 3 years. We hardly ever have to replace them and they do not seem to adversely impact rolling resistance

Makes sense - it’s certainly a difficult metric to measure
Friends we have suffered a terrible blow today.
The cause of this is under investigation, however our neighboring business a cabinet shop appears to have had a fire ignite and cometely destroy their shop. In the process of batteling that blaze a hole was ripped through the wall and flaming debris along with smoke and alot of water destroyed just about everything in our shop. Fire crews evacuated alot of our batteires and only 2 of them appear to have been shorted or caught on fire in some way.
