Yeah I have a set but they have a lottt of electrical resistance so I’m not sure about them. Also the erpm is super high
Yeah I was a bit worried about the 10 pole pairs too, let’s see how it goes, I have a special controller in mind for em and I think it will do just fine. Going to start with 18s and the 135kv

Maaan, youre killing me with the anticipation for my set of motors haha. 173kv at 16S should scream (but looking at those videos makes me want to go up to 205kv haha)
Reacher makes a 7490 now? Im assuming its able to handle a lot more phase amps before thermal throttling?
The data sheets seem to indicate this, and the motor construction has actual cooling channels built into the copper windings, however we will have to test and see how they perform in the real world
awh man, what’s with new stuff coming out after i buy parts LOL. Might have to get a set of the 7490’s too if @Tony_Stark says they’re worthwhile (and especially if he does his magic on them haha)
I think in most cases the 6385 motors will be just as good as the 7490, I imagine the bigger motor to only benefit a few very specific builds
If they handle thermals better that’s the main thing, i’m trying to push a LOT of power in hot texas weather haha.
What’s your build? What battery and gear reduction are you going for?
