Either side is ok, just flash to both you can use the All⬇️ key
So i will say if you dont have 6.02 on your Solos yet make sure to download those from thw included files tab first, after that load the custom FW
Bench test went goooid
Just had my solo shut off on my on my ride home from work.
I’m sitting on the train racking my brain trying to figure out what it could be.
I haven’t pulled it apart as I have to wait until I get to my stop and hop off to check it out.
Went over some bumps and that was it. It dove the nose pretty hard as I was going quick and just happened to pull off the road in time.
Puck still connects and Yt seems to still connect. But no motors.
My thought is maybe the receiver wire got pulled out? That is the only thing I can think of right now.
But being as the puck still connects that means the receiver is still good.
They still show up in Vesc tool so hopefully it’s not a hardware problem
Fuck man I hope I didnt blow this thing
I can help diagnose, get me as much detail as you can about what happened in the moments leading up
Was riding to train station after work, Nothing out of the ordinary riding style wise.
Power from a stop up to about 30mph. Not full throttle but it had the power.
I ran over a set of bumpy road, all cracked and I felt the nose dip like a fault code. That’s what I thought it was.
I go to engage power again and nothing. I pull my loop key and plug it in again while still moving and still nothing. So I hop off and walk the rest of the way.
I wasn’t pushing it hard before that either, mellow riding with some zoomies.
Running 12s, 100A motor current, 175A abs max current
Puck never disconnected and they still seem to appear in the vesc app. Just haven’t messed with anything yet until I get off the train here in about 5 min
I also did happen to get it on gopro so once I pull the video I can post it. Not much to see tho just me slowing down and going hmmm
wernt u having issue with your loopkey did it bump loose
Yep I was but I fixed it that day. Glued that thang in and it’s fine now.
Hmm send me a DM and lets figure this out
Went to plug my shiny new Minnie into my shiny new SKP solo and… The CANbus ports only have CANH and CANL, no 5v or ground. Do I just split out and pull 5v from a UART port?
Also, is there a better pinout diagram for this thing? The text on the casing is almost unreadable.
YAY I CAN READ THE PINOUT!!
Also yay, just an easy JST swap from a 4-pin to 2 2-pins.
For CAN, should I plug the Minnie into both Solos, or should I splice out the CANbus to one CAN port on the Minnie?
Can the Minnie act as the CAN bridge while providing telemetry for both units?
i’d just splice the can cable
I think the two CAN ports on the minnie are designed for exactly that.
There are two CAN ports that allow daisy chaining
Meh, already spliced it.
also works. here’s a diagram that says: “yeah that’s right too”.
Looking on the PCB, it’s wired together inside the Minnie anyway.

Im excited at these AMPS!
