sk8tedad's cave of BS no build here

As far as I can gather it’s only the later blue ones and not the older black ones. So, yeah might be a good idea to swap them out.

im not sure at this point, what i am sure of is i will be either inspecting them at 1800 miles(i have aprox 2200-2400 HARD miles on these) or just replacing the gears at 1800 miles. My board is a work in progress(arent they all?) there is already a new set of drives drives on the bench for it. Dont ask me what drives because my “GUY” (who out of an abundance of politeness will go un named, but it rymes with skyfart,is a sadist and will not give me details,he likes to make me wait/suffer) hasnt/wont tell me till i show up.(i didnt bother to ask this time)
Part of my usefullness is i beat the snot out of parts(testing to failure ),riding too fast in steep hills,my home is 800’above the town i live in so 2400’ of elavation gain/loss is normal,i do not jump unless im going to hit something. So i suspect ill be on 3dservesas drives for a while. Im a bit ignorant as to how soon this failure is. I THINK im putting a lot of abuse in to these. I weight 230 in all my gear, there have been some panic stops lately, the OH FUCK IM GOING TO DIE type stops,so that might be why, people LOVE to pull U turns on blind turns lately. Where i ride the views are spectacular,so we get lots of teenagers, they know me and some times i get the “WAVE” from a group of them,im sure they want to see me yard sale some day, iwant them to stop blocking the road

I can’t get it on video but she is dreaming about chasing the ball ( it all she thinks about) with the ball in her mouth. I’m pretty sure because she makes a distinctive bark when she chases the ball and misses it, it’s a frustration bark, she only does it while chasing and missing the ball

EDIT I LOVE THIS STUPID DOG FAR TOO MUCH,so there will be lots of pics

I’m so proud of myself! I’m DIYing! I plugged a few xt90s and XT60 connectors together ( he’ll I EVEN adapted XT90 to XT60!, I KNOW, IMPRESSIVE!!!)all by myself. I soldered a connector and did some other really advanced shit!
I’m so good at it now I feel confident it offering my services to anyone who needs an XT90 connector plugged in to another, I’m so good I can do XT 60s as well, I can even adapt between the 2!. Look out @Skyart im cutting in to your business. I guess I should make a vendor thread huh?

The pelican case is 20AH so I’m hoping with the 2 battery’s I’ll get 30-35 miles

If you put some loose AAAs in the enclosure, go better faster.

Also, get a foldout table or something, you godless animal.

Um( looks behind himself looking for who Bill could be taking to) I am no animal sir! I’m very fastidious, clean with great attention to detail, aforementioned qualities are only eclipsed by my grooming and personal hygiene! Thank you very much! :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
Here is a different picture on a different day so you know the first wasn’t a fluke

Sweet!

I love the bigger wheels! I have not ridden them because the sky is crying. I have been warned about delaminating, so I’m carrying a full spare set of wheels. Can’t wait to try them out!

I was just watching Josh Neuman vids as i put on all my safety shit ,while i wait for the road to dry a bit more(thane no like wet roads) Holy shit what a contribution this young man made to the world. The pure joy from watching vids ive seen 10s of times before is always amazing.
I put it on slow motion to watch him crash, ill never get over how effortless he makes crashing look 65 MPH with a helmet, sometimes a back protector, and some gloves!
Sometimes people give me shit for dangerous hobbies, getting hurt, being irresponcable with my body, but man watching this guy ride you KNOW he was making the most of life!

I know its cleche but the worlds fastest Indian quote always comes to mind (ill probable get it slightly wrong)" YOU LIVE MORE IN 5 MINUTES FLAT OUT ON SOMETHING LIKE THIS THAN SOME PEOPLE DO IN THEIR ENTIRE LIVES!" words to live by . If im honest there was a time when i was trying to kill my self by doing risky shit, but now i have so much fun,i want to live just to ride again.(there is also the few wonderfull people in my life that see something in me that i dont too)

Riding an esk8,or a motorcycle etc puts you in the moment, all the pain, regrets, insecurity etc is all muted because activity like this DEMANDS all you have,ALL your attention, living thru the next turn in the road is all that there IS,its all that can matter. Its an escape,a vacation, a little slice of heaven.

I had to give up motorcycles to prioratize being a father. I got my oldest child a WOWGO as a “last mile” form of transport,i bought a AEBOARD AX3 to ride with her, so many boards, thousands of dollars and surgeries later,i wouldnt trade any of it. It will not stop raining, ive worked 3 weeks this entire year, as a result ,for the first time ever im short on my child support payment,i lost a loved one recently, but in 10 minutes all of that will be muted, ill be in my happy place loving life, you cant put a price on that!

Everyone have a great day,im taking my THANE board to paradise to see how much more milage my new battery gets me! Take care
