Should I use double Nickel for 12s4p and if so what thickness?

Hey guys! I have a question for this battery build im doing. Im basically dont with getting everything I need for building the battery. But I have basically one question, being should i use 10mm x .15mm doubled , 10mm x .20mm single , or 10mm x .20mm doubled when welding the batteries, Im rebuilding the manufacturer setup (specifically because it has a weird fit) so id like to get it as right as possible. The old bms has a 40a discharge rating also! Any help helps! Thanks!
Ill drop some photos below!

also to note, when doing a bend test with a chip from the ladder nickel it was a little toughter than the .15mm nickel.

also sorry for spelling errors! I pretty fast & am used to autocorrect!

You should see if your nickel is pure, or nickel plated steel.

Scratch up some samples and submerge in salted water overnight.

Nickel plated steel feels stiffer than pure nickel.
Steel is not a great conductor.
