Short motors for compact boards

What motors do people recommend around 6354 or 6455? I’ve found Flipsky and Radium but everywhere else seems to be discontinued??

I’ve tried ordering Flipsky motors twice now and both times they’ve been returned to sender… I’m in Australia.

The Radium motors are literally twice the price.

I’ve bought maytech 6354s for roughly the same price as flipsky.

But thier core is so short I’m afraid they won’t be so powerful. FS 6374 on the left for reference

Ended up just getting the 6354 BKB motors

they are short, but mighty - i used to run an AT build with them…I would not get crazy torque, but it was a fun board (below). For short boards, they are ideal. I am building a Omakase esk8 and will be def. using them - 6374 are way too big for the build.

send more pics of your build!

Getting a Jett Vulcan downhill deck today for this build so the 6$54 will be perfect.

Funny you mention the Omakase since I’m picking up one from Marketplace this week too  that was my other option for the build.

I’ll do another larger build with bigger motors later on too since I have a ton of downhill and freeride decks

yeah - Omakase is a sweet deck, here’s with 6374 motors…way too big. I am working on it so the motors get more clearance from the ground (basically switching the motors and reworking motor mounts)
