/Derail but I’ve been considering this motor, how is it?
… going to pop this here see how it develops
I was just about to post this as well
I get the sliiiight suspicion that the belt not holding up isn’t his only problem lol
…I’m pretty sure that mount is 3d printed
but he gets points for trying to use 100% non suitable parts - I’d be worried driving some sort of lego display with THAT setup
Oh yes it is.
He also seems to use some tiny ass teeth profile for his belts and pulleys.
…I bet it works perfectly fine in the model tank it was probably taken from
That vid makes my ears uncomfy
Is this anti-spark issue?
that’s a shitbox tenka issue.
Mister massive stator please enlight us?!?!?
You think he’ll come back here? xD
Let’s hope not.
Don’t mind me, I’m a bit loopy from covid
They printed the name of the problem on the other side of the VESC
Self submission. This is my first DIY ever. I’m not proud of it but I’m glad I’ve come such a long way since then.
Would have been funny if you had put a zip-tie around one of the wheels to hold the motor wires
Sadly this build wasn’t going for forum points, but rather I needed to get to work and back lol. It’s 10s4p Samsung 35e (split into 2 10x2 packs) with a Flipsky dual 6.6+ and boardnamics idler mounts, and I think Flipsky 6374 190kv motors
What are ass teeth?
