You use solder that’s sold as a big stick in 1 pound sizes. Flux the wire separately.

Read the Spec Amass state

XT90 is rated for 60amp constant 90amp burst
AWG10 55amp
XT60 is rated for 40amp constant 60amp burst
AWG12 41amp
XT30 is rated tor 15amp constant 30amp burst
AWG18 16amp

All seems prity spot on to me

Just because people say that run XT90 at 90amp 120burst doesn’t mean amass say that

sure. What you see is the flux burning up after applying solder. If i stick it in a wire ball to clean it its gone. Thats just from the Flux inside the solder.

That depends on the flux percentage. Mine does that. I have kester 1.27mm 3.3% wire.
Most wires have have 1 to 2% of flux
