check his other videos and you will find the heater PCB. alot more cost efficient imo.
Sadly never a good idea to sacrifice a groundlayer either.
But I agree, its very kewl
he said he converts it to ground layer after.
I know, but cutting it up like that wont do you any favours specially not in high frequency or power applications

I would never trust it to do ESCs but definitely neat for smaller data only parts
