Is only designed to work with standard trucks and axle length. It won’t work with very wide trucks with long axles.
There seems to be a multitude of truck options available on this forum.
Please forgive my ignorance, but how long are standard length 8mm axles meant to be?
Hahaha…
As one of our vendors would gladly tell you…
“Standard length”

Standard longboard trucks like these
Not magnums?
I guess I will have to buy a set so I can measure them.
Most if not all skate trucks are 35mm axle length give or take.
Dyno testing at 42V. Motor can produce 5Nm at 42A. If run ~ 20A each motor can produce total of 5Nm and keeping running cool.
For how long? Guessing thermal throttling will happen at 40A after a while?
Is that supposed to be 5NM at 42V?
No. Testing is run on 42V. At ~ 42A it can produce 5Nm.
It depends on many factors.
It would be great if you could do some tests to measure temperature vs time at 20A/30/40/50A until they overheat.
Such a plot would be super helpful for us to have some idea of how to configure our motor settings!
Each one can then decide on their own how much they want to risk based on how hilly their area is and how risk averse they are.
Thats pretty easy to establish on our own, just ride around and touch the side plate on occasion
If Jeff has the equipment to do it properly and establish it for everyone, I’d much prefer that
When our testing machine is free we can do more performance testing for you with temperature checking as well
awesome
It would be lovely if you could collect all the testing results and other specifications related to the motor in a datasheet.pdf or similar!
We will make specification information to put on our website when we make all these testing.
I tried searching the thread, but couldn’t find whether this is the same for both Neo and Unlimited hubs?
Any news regarding the shipping problem? @jeffwuneo
