He’s not even started yet. Give the chap 15 minutes to open the package.
15 minutes to reverse engineer, prototype and send out a finished product seems a little long to me.
Fine. I’ll give you 8 minutes but I want a 7 minute cuddle afterwards.
Not sure yet. We need start work first and evaluate if design is good or if need making change.
@jeffwuneo if this goes well, would you be willing to also reverse engineer the ESCape?
I could send you one if you promise to get it back to me safely!
We can reverse engineer if having design. I can send back no problem. I say @BillGordon we can send back his also.
I’m sure that many people would be very happy with an ESCape clone. Let’s see how you go with the focbox first
My team is working on reverse engineer. We already see some interesting thing with these pcb. This top pcb is made from American pcb and bottom one is from China.
We plan make change to some component for more reliability. We change capacitor to have larger uF which can helping for regen.
The bottom one is the later design, can’t remember the changes brought in for V1.7 which was the last version
Here’s a schematic for an earlier version again
Do you having this file? I don’t see file here.
This might work
This say 1.3 version, which is first ? Does anyone having latest file.
I think Enertion lost interest in releasing subsequent schematics
For capacitor, we change to Panasonic 2200uF (from 680uF) which is same size as current one but can handling more heat and reliable.
This is facinating! Please keep us posted!
Kind of planning on this.
As much as I hate to say it, but it may be worthwhile trying to find stewii before reverse engineering his escapes, since no one really knows wtf happened I feel like we owe it to him to make sure he’s okay.
I send you back no problem and new one we making
My engineer discover many component not having enough solder to connect to pads in some place. We can making this better and reliable. Also some cold solder joint.
This can cause by using low grade solder paste and dirty screen during manufacture.
Just kidding, brother. Full appreciation for all you are doing for the community.
